We’re here to help each other grow food. Whether it’s your first seedling or your fiftieth harvest, there’s room for your experience here.

Keep it about growing

Plants, soil, seasons, pests, harvests, and preserving what you grow—all welcome. Keep politics, off-topic debates, and promotions out of the conversation.

Make beginners feel welcome

Every grower starts somewhere. Share what worked for you and give people room to ask questions. No insults, pile-ons, or gatekeeping.

Share experience, not absolutes

Gardens differ. Explain your conditions instead of promising the same result everywhere. Be especially careful with claims about wild edibles or medicinal uses. If you’re unsure, leave them out.

Keep the sales pitch out

No ads, affiliate links, or storefronts. Mentioning a product that solved your growing problem is fine. Posting to promote yourself or sell something isn’t.

Looking after the conversation

A person is behind every review.

Before your post appears

During early access, a person reviews every post, usually within a day. You’ll hear back in your notifications whether it’s approved or needs changes.

If something doesn’t belong

Use Report on the post to ask for a review. Reporting doesn’t automatically hide it. For anything else, use the Feedback button on any page.
